let us be explorers...

You know how people always say they explore the world before they explore their own home town? Today the sun came out and we ventured into the city. From walking the main grid streets you would think the CBD is all the same... But it isnt.

Deviate down alleyways and everything changes. Curious clothing boutiques that somehow stay in business. Confined “cash-only” cafes full of outlandish hipsters and caffeinated travellers. A giant Pop Up rentable veggie patch. Secret bars and restaurants hidden away below eye level. Lively and dark street art everywhere. There is something about Melbourne’s vibe that is bizarre... A bit random. Businessmen, gym junkies, tourists, hipsters and bogans can all be seen getting take away coffee from the same cafĂ©. The same way people can suffer hypothermia and heatstroke in a day. The people are as puzzling as the weather. Its easy to plan a trip and dream of seeing the world (48 days til the US and counting) but what about your own town?

Simple times? Explore more!
